Toccata Ladies Choir is delighted to be back singing together and is presenting two concerts in May. These are the choir’s first public performances since the pandemic and will feature songs old and new, traditional and contemporary, which audiences have enjoyed over the years. The choir as always will be skilfully directed by Eleanor Howat but these concerts will sadly be her swan song as Musical Director, after 25 years with Toccata.
She will be greatly missed but we look forward to the future, and are sure we will continue to thrive under the leadership of our new Musical Director Claire Christie .
“Toccata” is a musical term derived from Italian meaning to touch, and we hope we can touch the hearts of our audience as we say goodbye to Eleanor and start a new chapter with Claire.
