The Musical Director of Toccata Ladies Choir is Claire Christie.
Claire Christie graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD) in 2009 and is a secondary music teacher in Fife. She has an extensive choral background, having sung with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra Chorus, Edinburgh Festival Chorus, and the National Youth Choir of Scotland. She also spent three years in Australia, where she sang with the Sydney Philharmonia Choir Chamber Singers and performed regularly at the Sydney Opera House.
Claire became Musical Director of Toccata Ladies Choir after Eleanor Howat retired in 2022. Under her direction, the choir has continued its award-winning success, including winning the choral class at the Perform in Perth Festival in 2026.
